PHLAUER TM SYSTEMS

A&J design mixing systems that typically include ingredient measuring, mixing, discharging, interfacing to packaging and system control. With our partners, we can expand this package to conveying and storage.

Our customers have the advantage of having one source who will make sure all the pieces fit the space, fit together, and production rates are met. Systems are working in various industries.

The picture shown to the right below, with the green equipment,  is a system for mixing thinsets, grouts and mortars in Thailand. The design was requested to produce 80 metric tonnes per day, and it is easily doing 100.

Our customer suggested how they wanted to handle cement in a silo, and sand from a dump truck. With that information,    A & J proposed a concept with budget pricing. Our customer had some preferences which we incorporated, including "the simplest PLC system you can provide". The major ingredients are weighed automatically and the minors are hand-adds.

The contract was for the mixer, ingredient hoppers, screw conveyor for cement, metering screw and bucket elevator for sand, discharge hopper, and the customer requested we handle his choice of baggers to co-ordinate shipping. We did the scales and PLC control. For the structural, we designed the concept and they had a locally licensed engineer finalize the design. We supplied all the bolts and connectors ready to install.

The major components were set up in the shop for fit, and also to run the PLC program to facilitate an easy installation and start-up.

The customer did an excellent job of installing and wiring. They actually bumped all the I/O and checked rotations before our start-up team got there. We never found any wiring errors. It took us a little longer than we expected to start up, mainly because of air handling problems. We were there 8 days.

When we got going, their lab confirmed that we were producing the best product they had ever seen, which is standard from PHLAUER High Performance Mixers.

In United States, A&J with a partner are supplying the mixer, all dosing and handling equipment for a 45 ton per hour colored masonry cement facility.

If you have existing facilities, we can model to get the components to fit and guarantee the capacities (as shown in the picture with the cream colored equipment).
