How We Do It...
Engineered Voids for True Randomization
Mixing requires voids for particles to change place and organized transport across the batch. PHLAUER™ paddles are precisely sized to create the ideal number of voids — equal to the batch volume per rotor revolution — ensuring uniform movement and repeatable results.
Controlled Particle Movement
Each mixer is divided into multiple zones, each served by two paddles. One long paddle near the housing advances material along the wall while a short paddle moves material in the opposite direction closer to the rotor shaft. This balanced design maintians high particle movement and controlled transport, keeping all material in reach of the paddles.
Speed and Precision
From the moment the mixer starts, every particle is in motion. Precise paddle geometry allows a complete mix in one minute or less for single-rotor systems, or 30 seconds for dual-rotor models — making PHLAUER™ mixers some of the fastest in the industry.
Ideal for Liquid Additions
Rapid, uniform movement makes our mixers ideal for applying liquids. Perfectly mixed material passes any point every 6–10 seconds, ensuring full coating within 30 seconds. For non-absorbent products, the mixer action transfers liquid from particle to particle instantly.
